I like to keep things fresh at The Frustrated Gardener, so I’ve upgraded to a brand new theme called Axon. My blog’s previous theme, Further, has become Twenty Fourteen, this year’s WordPress default layout. I hate to conform, so it’s out with the old and in with a new, photo-friendly format. Please let me know what you think of my new look and do keep checking in for new posts as spring approaches.
A Bold New Look

That’s what I thought. Changing theme last year gave the blog a real boost (I thought) and gave me new areas to work on. I think WordPress do a great job with these new layouts.

Well, I am a newbie here in your community but I must say I really like this theme a lot! Great color background and love the way the title in the masthead moves when you scroll. And gorgeous masthead photo too. Nice.

I really appreciate your comment, thank you. The theme is perhaps not so different to the previous one, but somehow less cluttered. I like the masthead too, although it needs a very high resolution image. I will have a lot of fun changing it around to suit the seasons. Enjoy the weekend.

Thanks Judy. I think it looks cleaner and less cluttered, which allows the words and images to shout louder. Plus I do like a change!
