This week has quite simply run away with me. It’s gone by in a blur of glitter, spreadsheets, wrapping paper, meetings, champagne, parties, chocolate, secret santas and few ill advised glasses of Madeira. Quite a heady cocktail. No wonder I can barely open my eyes this afternoon. In the course of duty today I stumbled across this ginormous wreath, which made a rather excellent frame for my tired face, effectively concealing an ever-expanding tummy. Still, Christmas is not a time for restraint in my book – I’ll take care of the waistline in January……or maybe February.
Posts of a more serious nature to be resumed shortly. Now where did I put that bottle of Madeira?………
