This cool Kniphofia (red hot poker) is part of George Dillistone’s clever planting scheme at Castle Drogo in Devon. Planted amongst stronger yellow Heleniums and silver-blue Echinops, the towers of vanilla and ivory tubular flowers provide a sophisticated accent.
