- Waking up to the cry of seagulls (this will rapidly wear off as the breeding season progresses).
- Opening all the windows and letting the fresh air in.
- The sun’s rays illuminating the new buds of Rosa banksiae ‘Lutea’.
- Our front door opening without having to kick it.
- The scent of violas, hyacinths and narcissi wafting into the living room.
- Not needing to wear galoshes to go outside.
- Having time to daydream.
- Leaving my tools outside overnight.
- A simple lunch on the terrace with Him Indoors.
- The prospect of a sunny Sunday.
I hope your Saturday was sunny too 🙂
We did have a sunny day but if I’d opened the windows the water pipes would have frozen. 🙂 So glad you are having such fine weather.
Yes sunny and warm here in Italy today but still with a cold NE wind.
Oh if only all Saturdays could be like this one!
