Whether it’s the sun, too much water or too much food I don’t know, but the garden in going nuts at the moment. The foliage is coming so fast that even the snails can’t keep up. The leaf-cutter bees think it’s Christmas and are busy sawing out neat little notches to furnish their solitary nests. Having had Rosa banksiae for starters and my newly planted wisteria for their main, they are now tucking into my fuchsias for dessert. Now all we need is a few more flowers …. or will the bees think they’re petit fours?

I like your Wisteria! I got some mini Fuschias this year. They only grow to 12 inches, and they supposedly bloom all summer. They are 7 inches now in mid-July, and still blooming their little heads off in my window boxes.
Marvellous! Like you, I try to make use of every inch of space. Hope they keep going until the fall x
Looks lovely. I am glad that you are having better weather this summer than last.
Indeed we are! It’s steaming hot here in London. Last night we had rain and hail storms that were so powerful they did a better job than my jet-washer. And of course we’re all obsessed with the Royal baby.
Feast or famine! Looks wonderful.
Thanks Gill x
