All the Fun of the Fair

Reading time 2 minutes

If you were wondering where I’ve been, I’ve been taking a short holiday. I’m having what’s fashionably referred to as a ‘staycation’, which means people have to come to me, rather than me to them. It’s lovely to be at home; to enjoy the house fully and to have time to potter in the garden at a leisurely pace. There’s also the chance to visit local attractions that I don’t usually have time to get to. Yesterday it was the turn of Dreamland in Margate. A good time was had by all. There was candyfloss, much spinning and sliding, copious laughter, and it didn’t rain. Holidays do not get much better than that …. not in England at least. TFG.

  1. Thank you for the great photos and your helpful comments and notes this Summer. Love your blog and happy for you that you are having a good hols. This is a particularly excellent photo.

  2. It’s nice to have a few “lazy days” gently pottering in the garden, meeting up with friends – enjoy this special time.

  3. I am such a scaredy cat I don’t go on many rides these days, the waltzers are as wild as I get! But I do love the atmosphere, to watch (and hear) others enjoying (terrified) the crazy stuff. Sounds like you had a great time. Hope you feel rested and refreshed. x
