Sun Worshippers

Reading time 2 minutes

Opening our seaside garden for the second time we were not sure what to expect, but the sun shone and the visitors came, and came, and came. In the space of four hours we welcomed over 120 lovely people, from as near as the next street and as far as Newark in Nottinghamshire. Our new ‘tea garden’ at No. 3 went down a storm with lemon loaf and Alexs’ Archers seed cake selling out. There’s more in the oven tonight. I talked plants for four hours solid, which is my idea of heaven.

The garden will be open again tomorrow from 12-4pm so come and join us!

It was great to hear how many visitors read this blog so this post is dedicated to all of you who visited today.

  1. I wish I was there. Can I have Alex”s lemon cake recipe please. I will bake it and imagine I am visiting your garden.

  2. Sounds like all worked out well. Congratulations, I’m sure everyone enjoyed their visit. The photos show how beautiful your garden looked for the day. Well done. I know it was a lot of work. Wish I could have been there.
