The Ten Best Things About A Sunny Saturday

Reading time 1 minute
  1. Waking up to the cry of seagulls (this will rapidly wear off as the breeding season progresses).
  2. Opening all the windows and letting the fresh air in.
  3. The sun’s rays illuminating the new buds of Rosa banksiae ‘Lutea’.
  4. Our front door opening without having to kick it.
  5. The scent of violas, hyacinths and narcissi wafting into the living room.
  6. Not needing to wear galoshes to go outside.
  7. Having time to daydream.
  8. Leaving my tools outside overnight.
  9. A simple lunch on the terrace with Him Indoors.
  10. The prospect of a sunny Sunday.

I hope your Saturday was sunny too 🙂
