Tidal Textures

Reading time 1 minute

Today was a perfect winter’s day – calm, bright and cloudless. The sky was the blue of a pair of well worn jeans, the sea waveless, lightly crinkled by an imperceptible breeze. Oyster catchers mingled amiably with the new generation of herring gulls, still dirty brown in their juvenile plumage. Thanet folks flocked to the beach for horse riding, cycling and dog walking. For us it was a leisurely stroll around Minnis Bay before a substantial lunch, which has rather finished me off for the day!
