National Garden Scheme Opening Dates

Reading time 2 minutes

It’s official, our garden at The Watch House will be open as part of the National Gardens Scheme on Saturday August 2nd and Sunday August 3rd 2014.  If the weather is kind we’ll be displaying awesome agapanthus, exciting echiums and cavorting cautleyas, all in a sheltered, sunny, subtropical courtyard setting. We’re breaking with the tradition of teas and putting on a barbecue instead.

The Watch House will be one of the smallest gardens in Kent, if not the smallest, to open, so perhaps combine it with a visit to the pretty seaside town of Broadstairs.  We’re only 2 minutes from the seafront by foot.  Come along and find out about how we created a leafy town garden on the site of a bomb shelter with cellars beneath.  Or if you can’t make it, just do a little sun dance and wish us luck!
