Today I am celebrating the ten thousandth visit to The Frustrated Gardener. I can’t quite believe we’ve made it this far. Thank you for dropping by, ten thousand times! In honour of this milestone, I thought I’d share this lovely poem, written by Wu Men (1183 – 1260) and translated from Chinese by Stephen Mitchell.
Ten thousand flowers in spring, the moon in autumn,
a cool breeze in summer, snow in winter.
If your mind isn’t clouded by unnecessary things,
this is the best season of your life.
What is the recipe for 10,000 visits? Good content and great photos mixed well and seasoned with a dash of humor. 🙂
You are very kind Judy! I’d have to say it’s in large part down to loyal followers like yourself who check in so regularly. It’s much appreciated and keeps me motivated. Thank you!
