Pretty in Pink

In spite of the biting wind, these fragile pink blossoms of Prunus and Camellia put on a brave show this weekend at Goodnestone Park, Kent. Surely spring can only be days away now?

  1. I have been searching and searching for a good photo of a Japanese Plum to compare to the photo of a tree I took the other day but couldn’t identify. I think it could be a Japanese Plum but I’m just not sure. It’s blooming right now (winter weather), with no leaves on the tree in South Louisiana. This little tree is just so beautiful. I must find out what it is so I can buy some for my yard. Your photos are lovely btw!
