In love with Adeniums

Reading time 1 minute

I am not sure what it is that attracts me to this rather gaudy plant. Everything about it shouts “look at me”, from its stumpy and bloated trunk to its lipstick-pink flowers. But it’s totally tropical, outrageously oriental and pretty photogenic to boot. Enjoy or shrink back in horror, I won’t mind either way!

  1. Please attend the flower festival in Saigon – around Luna New Year time. You can see Adeniums in different colors. The one i like most is at Tao Dan park, Ho Chi Minh city.

    1. I’d love to! I’m so impressed with the flowers in Vietnam and it was great to see the end of the New Year decorations. I’ve told everyone in Hong Kong and China about them. I think Vietnam does it best (the apricot blossom here in China is fake as it’s too cold!).
